Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards, quality control, and client satisfaction throughout all phases of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Prepare and analyze construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management, markup, and collaboration on project drawings
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam
- Experience with construction estimating processes and tools
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and construction techniques
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Relevant certifications in project management or construction management are preferred
