Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs promptly
- Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and closing duties at the end of shifts
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables and bar orders simultaneously
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
