We are a stable lumber mill offering full time employment looking for a Forklift Operator
Experience: Must have Minimum 3 years forklift experience on a 15,000 lb or higher machine.
Position is offered for day shift hours – 6am to 2:30pm.
Position starts at $28.00/per hour based on skill and experience.
Benefits available after probationary period.
Qualified Forklift Operator with lumber experience
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Outdoor Lumber Yard
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Strapping machines, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Wrap goods, Sort goods, Stack goods
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Confined spaces, Dusty.
Transportation: Must have own vehicle, public transportation not available.
Essential Skills: Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
