This is a project-based backfill vacancy for a senior Java Software Developer to join a collaborative 7 8 member team in the delivery and development of a technology project, and to eventually contribute to future enhancement, support, and maintenance post-delivery. The successful candidate will develop and host web-enabled and database-driven applications in Java, apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver solutions, and design and develop quality solutions for systems issues consistent with project objectives. The role operates in a scaled Agile manner, with approximately 20 30% of time spent in meetings including backlog refinement sessions, working within the pod and with other teams for collaboration. All interactions are internal, and the contractor will have no access to customer data. Candidates can expect exposure to advanced technology within a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
