Fernie Wilderness Adventures is hiring Lodge Services team members for the summer season.
The Lodge Services Team helps create a welcoming experience for guests while hosting overnight fishing guests and preparing the lodge and grounds for private rentals.
To be successful in this role you will need to provide exceptional customer service, have a great attention to detail and remain highly organized. The right candidate will feel comfortable and motivated to work independently as well as part of a team. Lodge Services will report to the Lodge Manager who will be working alongside them through our summer season.
General Responsibilities:
· Prepare and serve breakfast and dinner for lodge guests
· Clean up after meals
· Provide check-in and check-out services to lodge guests
· Greeting guests upon arrival
· Cleaning and maintaining interior of lodge which includes bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen
· Cleaning and maintaining exterior of lodge which includes mowing lawn, splitting firewood
· Driving guide vehicles to assist with fishing shuttles
· Covering on-call overnight shifts
· Using Google sheets and docs to check business operations and work schedules
Requirements:
· Customer service experience
· Highly organized
· Drivers license and means of transportation
· Experience in tourism is an asset
· Able to comfortably lift 10 lbs.
Hours:
· 3-5 days per week
· Late July – mid September (flexible start and finish dates)
· August is our busiest month and offers the most hours
Pay:
· $22/hourly -based on experience
