Role: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) acts as the central point of contact for all prospective and current customers, managing inbound sales inquiries via calls, emails, and online channels. This role is the main support function of the Revenue department.
The CSR delivers unparalleled service, striving to provide customers with a positive and memorable experience. Additionally, the CSR offers full-cycle internal sales support to Account Executives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Support: Proactively assess and anticipate customers' needs to achieve optimal customer satisfaction. Demonstrate diplomacy, tact, and respect in all interactions with customers and promptly escalate customer complaints to management. Apply relevant upsell and cross sell strategy during any applicable interactions with customers. Verify and update customer information and precisely document all interactions with the customer and changes to the account.
- Internal Sales: Act as liaison between Account Executives and customer by keeping in contact with prospective and existing clients throughout the sales cycle. Provide industrial supplies, fuel, and lubes quotes, sourcing, order updates and resolving invoice issues directly through the Account Executives. Process customers’ orders and credit card payments. Respond and transfer of calls to the appropriate departments when required. Proactively seek out and acquire new customers through outbound call as needed.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Location: Must live in Saint-Léonard, QC, or other nearby areas.
- Typical schedule: On-site position. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm fixed hours of work, occasional overtime.
- Education: Post-secondary education
- Physical Requirements: Must have the physical capabilities and strength to lift and/ or move items up to 20 lbs.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer service environment, administration, inside sales support.
- Technology: User experience with an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) platform; Business Central and proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications.
- Skills: Excellent keyboarding skills. Performs effectively in high-pressure situations. Demonstrates the capability to handle a significant volume of calls while delivering exceptional service quality. Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English and French. Quick to grasp new concepts and information. Exhibits strong aptitude for learning and adapting. Ability to solve problems and handle confidential information. Capacity to remain calm and professional when interacting with irate customers.
