Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Candidates should possess excellent time management skills and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness in service areas
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and cash handling purposes
- Experience with serving, upselling, and cashiering in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Hospitality or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided for new team members
