Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Leasing Manager to lead our leasing operations and oversee a team of leasing agents.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for leasing available units, managing and supporting leasing agents, monitoring lead follow-ups, coordinating property visits, and ensuring that leasing targets are met across our portfolio.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, confident in sales, and capable of motivating a team in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with property owners, property managers, and internal team members to maximize occupancy rates while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support leasing agents.
- Assign leads, visits, and properties to team members.
- Monitor follow-ups, applications, performance, and signed leases.
- Conduct property tours and respond to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from inquiry to lease signing.
- Review applications and ensure all required documents are collected.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and availability updates.
- Develop strategies to increase leads, conversions, and occupancy.
- Communicate with property managers and owners regarding leasing progress.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve escalated concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential leasing, property management, or real estate sales.
- Previous leadership or team management experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple agents, properties, and applications.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required.
