SUMMARY
Assembles and solders routine and repetitive tasks on printed circuit boards (PCB) for Artaflex Inc.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Soldering
· Performs simple and routine hand soldering tasks on PCB boards soldering components, taping, loading, cleaning and testing products involving using a small number of parts or details
· Prepares components arranging according to standards
· Checks documentation prior to production and ensures availability of parts
· Inspects components before loading onto PCB boards
· Maintains work area cleaning and organizing on a regular basis
· Makes few decisions as detailed instructions are provided on all work and refers decisions or questions outside the scope of detailed documented routines and procedures to Lead Hand
Other
· Complies with the company’s vision, fundamentals, policies and procedures
· Complies with health and safety procedures
· Performs other tasks as assigned by management
SKILLS
· Secondary school completion or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum 1 year soldering experience in the electronic industry.
· Knowledge of electronics components and production including industry technical standards (IPC) and related machinery/tools preferred
· Ability to perform simple hand soldering and understand simple blueprints
· Ability to apply knowledge of the company’s business and customers as well as corporate policies and procedures
· Basic communication skills to deal effectively with management and employees in own department engaging in routine exchanges of information
· Ability to operate Solder Iron and Socket, Heat Gun which includes prolonged repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye coordination
· Works on assignments and resolves problems that are routine in nature
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
