Technicon Industries is seeking carpenters for residential construction projects in Prince Rupert. Local tradespeople to receive hiring preference.
Journeypersons preferred. 2nd and 3rd year apprentices encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
- Three years minimum relevant experience in carpentry trade, with 2 years of ITA program completed
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive on the job progress
- Capable of completing physical work, including heavy lifting of 50+ lbs
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and installation practices common to carpentry trade
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards and regulations
- Possess high problem solving skills
- Possess professional customer service skills
- Clean criminal record as it relates to the workplace
- Driver's license
- Basic hand tools
Compensation:
- Wage negotiable based on experience and skill set
- Benefits after 3 month probation period

Pay: $27.00-$46.00 per hour
