Job Summary
Liquid lounge is a mobile bar, we go to a variety of events - weddings, engagements, parties and birthday. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where hospitality and service excellence are valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and checking for food safety compliance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed during food handling and serving processes
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills during busy hours
- Assist in setting up the bar before service and cleaning up after closing shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Experience in hospitality or food industry roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
