Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman/woman to lead and oversee landscape maintenance and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, gardening, and construction practices. This role involves supervising a team of workers, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining client satisfaction. The Landscape Foreman/woman plays a vital role in coordinating daily operations, managing project timelines, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance and construction crews to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
- Oversee installation of irrigation systems, gardening layouts, and other landscape features
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Manage project schedules, materials, and equipment to meet deadlines
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to develop their skills in horticulture, landscaping, and construction techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality and address any issues promptly
- Assist with hands-on tasks such as planting, pruning, lawn care, and construction activities as needed
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in landscape maintenance or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including gardening, plant care, and landscape design principles
- Experience with irrigation system installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and pest control
- Background in construction work related to outdoor projects is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: $22.49-$40.12 per hour
