The Position: We are looking for a high energy Violin Teacher for private lessons to join our team in late August 2026. This role is part-time with the following approx. schedule that can expand as the schedule fills:
- Monday 4pm to 8pm
- Saturday 9am to 2pm
- Availability for one additional weekday evening may be required based on enrollment and program needs.
You must be available to work weekday evenings and Saturdays as these are our busiest times in the studio.

Job Requirements:
The suitable candidate must have at least one of the following:
- A music degree or equivalent experience in the instrument for which you are applying.
- A minimum Grade 8 RCM violin standing with Grade 2 Rudiments (or professional equivalent).
The candidate must also have:
- Previous teaching experience with a variety of ages.
- Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods.
- A clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- A positive attitude and desire for lifelong learning!
Responsibilities:
- Teach to a high standard, students of all ages. We will support this endeavor by providing you with a variety of workshops, training, materials, and resources.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging attitude with students and colleagues.
- Create an engaging, creative and holistic music learning environment for all students.
- Create solid practice plans for each student.
