Bright Future Brands is a proudly Canadian, woman-owned moving company providing residential moving, piano moving, storage, packing, and specialty transportation services throughout British Columbia.
We are looking for hardworking, reliable Residential Movers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a professional team that values customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting, carrying, wrapping, loading, unloading, and protecting customers' belongings during residential moves.
About the Role
As a Residential Mover, you will work as part of a moving crew responsible for safely relocating household goods while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will be trained on our moving procedures, furniture protection standards, customer service expectations, and specialty moving techniques.
Every day is different. One day you may be moving a family across town, while the next you may be assisting with a high-end residential move or specialty item relocation.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload household goods safely and efficiently
- Wrap and protect furniture using moving blankets and stretch wrap
- Protect homes using floor runners, door protection, and other protective materials
- Carry furniture, appliances, and household items safely
- Assist with packing and unpacking services
- Follow company procedures for residential moving and customer care
- Work safely and professionally as part of a team
- Communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers
- Maintain a clean and organized truck throughout the day
- Assist with specialty moves including pianos and other heavy items (training provided)
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs
- Physically capable of performing manual labor throughout the workday
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- English communication is required on all job sites
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability Monday through Sunday
- Ability to work varying start and finish times depending on customer schedules
- Previous moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or other physically demanding work is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and experience operating commercial box trucks is considered an asset
- Previous residential moving experience is considered an asset

Compensation
- $21.00 per hour – Residential Mover
- $23.00 per hour – Team Lead with atleast 2 years of Moving experince and a valid Class 5 Driver's License and experience operating commercial box trucks
