Job Summary: We are looking for School Group and Event Facilitators. Facilitators lead and engage groups in a wide range of activities, such as archery, hiking, low ropes, crafts, and other outdoor adventures. They serve as role models, mentors, attentive listeners, adventure guides, problem solvers, and motivators—acting as the frontline faces, hands, eyes, and ears of the Cave Springs experience.

Job Description:
- Provide a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all students and campers.
- Act as a positive role-model for campers, staff, volunteers, and others associated with Cave Springs Programming.
- Facilitate the planning of the daily schedule for assigned school group or special events programming.
- Lead activities for assigned group.
- Provide leadership, support and supervision at camp-wide events.
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity and excellence to leadership and programming.
- Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely nature.
- Maintain good public relations with teachers, volunteers, and community members.
- Provide effective communication of information with staff members.
- Supervise school groups in overnight program, as assigned.
- Share the workload and responsibilities with fellow staff members.
- Effectively communicate the needs and concerns of campers and staff to co-leaders.
- Utilize the resources of other members of the staff team.
- Engages in ongoing skill development.
- Contribute to the planning, facilitating, and providing resources for students.
- Take care of equipment and the facility; including cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Work effectively with year-round and seasonal staff of Cave Springs Camp.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when necessary.
- Take responsibility for upholding community norms.
- Follow the policies, procedures, and practices of Cave Springs Camp.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment for a School Group & Program Facilitator:
That the employee:
- Submits to a criminal reference check at his/her own expense no later than September 8, 2026. (if over 18)
- Agrees to the full term of employment and is available to work the appointed schedule.
- Attends & participates fully in all Staff Training programs; the Program Director must be notified of all schedule conflicts as soon as possible.
- Agrees to live by and ensure the maintenance of all philosophies, policies and procedures of Cave Springs and Cave Springs Camp.
Qualifications:
- CPR Certification prefered
- Experience working with children

Contract length: September to December, 2026
Expected start date: September 8, 2026
Pay: starting at $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day time
- Overnight
- Weekends as Needed
