Class D Flatbed Driver – Immediate Hiring

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class D Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a 22-foot flatbed truck to transport steel products to customers and job sites throughout the GTA.
The ideal candidate is an experienced driver with a strong safety record, excellent work ethic, and experience securing loads for transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 22-foot flatbed truck to transport steel products.
- Secure loads using straps and tie-down equipment to ensure safe transportation.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver materials accurately and on schedule.
- Follow all applicable transportation regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License.
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Clean Driver's Abstract with a proven safe driving record.
- Must be insurable and have a minimum of 3–5 years of driving history.
- Previous experience operating flatbed trucks is preferred.
- Experience securing loads with straps and tie-downs.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and securing materials.
