Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Logistics and Fleet Manager to lead our supply chain operations and transportation fleet. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of warehouse distribution, transportation logistics, procurement, and materials handling. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize freight and shipping activities, and ensure seamless order fulfillment across multiple channels, including e-commerce. Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and inventory control using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400.
- Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate freight movements, demand planning, sourcing, and procurement processes.
- Lead procurement efforts for materials and sourcing initiatives, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement process improvements across logistics operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows within warehouse and transportation functions.
- Supervise fleet operations including vehicle maintenance schedules, driver management, compliance with safety regulations, and utilization of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight carriers, and shipping partners to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
- Utilize data analysis skills to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze supply chain trends, and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation, warehouse safety protocols, and transportation regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, order fulfillment strategies, and packaging requirements for diverse product lines including e-commerce orders.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution management, materials management, or supply chain operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms like SAP or Oracle.
- Demonstrated ability in procurement sourcing, pricing negotiations, demand planning, and freight management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management system (WMS), warehouse experience including order picking and shipping & receiving processes.
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation certification preferred; knowledge of packaging standards is a plus.
- Data analysis skills with proficiency in analyzing logistics metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Experience working with 3PL providers and managing complex supply chain networks involving multiple stakeholders.

Pay: $90,026.28-$100,274.90 per year
