Job Description
We are seeking a customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. This role involves preparing, packaging, and displaying deli products while ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and excellent service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with product selection and recommendations
- Prepare, slice, package, and label deli items according to safety standards
- Maintain product freshness through stock rotation and proper storage
- Operate equipment such as rotisserie ovens and deep fryers for hot food preparation
- Ensure signage and pricing accuracy and support front-end associates with price checks
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including sanitation of tools and workstations
- Handle special orders and customer requests in a courteous, professional manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe deli area at all times
Qualifications
- Experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an asset
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices (training provided)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
