Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operational needs of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while on the job site.
- As a labourer you will be moving stone using shovels, brooms and wheelbarrows
- As a labourer you will be removing old materials from project using hands and other specific tools
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction , flat roofing or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
- A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
Requirements
- Valid Working at Heights certificate (send photo when you submit your resume)
- PPE including, but not limited to, CSA safety boots, hard hat, hi-vis vest, shirt, jacket, tinted safety glasses, work gloves
- Reliable transportation to our shop located in Ruthven ON and/or job site daily
