True North Labour is seeking motivated Semi-Skilled Labourers to join our high-energy team for an upcoming project in Nanaimo, BC. What You’ll Do:
As a Semi-Skilled Construction Labourer, you’ll:
- Support Skilled Trades: Work closely with tradespeople on various technical tasks.
- Material Management: Handle site clean-up and efficiently load, unload, and organize materials.
- Trade Learning: Take on diverse tasks that allow you to learn the trades and expand your skill set.
- Site Maintenance: Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Reporting: Complete and submit daily timesheets to ensure timely weekly payments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in construction site labour is required.
- Local Talent: Must be a local resident of Fort St. John or fully prepared to relocate for the project.
- Physical Fitness: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Safety First: A commitment to following all site safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Certification: Valid WHMIS 2015 (Required).
- PPE: Must have your own required personal protective equipment.
- Documentation: Accuracy in submitting daily timesheets.
