What the Role Looks Like
Schedule: SATURDAYS + possibly one other evening
Location: Burlington, ON
Clinic: Alton Dental
Compensation: $55/hr
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide a full range of dental hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride application
- Assess patients and create personalized hygiene care plans aligned with clinical protocols
- Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term maintenance strategies
- Deliver a comfortable, positive patient experience built on trust, communication, and attention to detail
- Build strong patient relationships through compassionate and professional care
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care
What You Bring
- Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
- Registered and in good standing with the CDHO
- Valid malpractice/liability insurance (CDHA or ODHA)
- IPAC certification
You’re also someone who:
- Communicates clearly, professionally, and confidently with patients
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages schedules effectively
- Brings a calm, patient-first approach to every interaction
- Works well independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
- Is comfortable using dental software and digital workflows
Nice to Have
Experience with iTero scanning and whitening services (e.g., Zoom)
