Bar Porter / Bar Assistant – Part-Time (Weekends)

About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Bar Porter / Bar Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. This part-time, weekend role supports our bar and event operations across multiple outlets — from lively lounges to special event bars — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Restock bar supplies including glassware, ice, liquor, garnishes, and mixers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas and storage rooms
- Collect and clean glassware throughout shifts
- Assist bartenders during service and large-scale events
- Set up and tear down portable bars for functions and events
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality or bar experience an asset, but not required
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Must be available Friday–Saturday and for occasional special events or holidays
- Must be 18+

Schedule:
- Part-time, weekends (Friday–Saturday)
