Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. This position is 2 days week of work. WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs and any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests from facility occupants.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in commercial cleaning techniques and practices.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.
