Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Yard Personnel/Millworker to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations, operating equipment, and assisting with yard tasks. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely. Duties
- Load and unload materials using on site forklifts.
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory management within the warehouse management system.
- Assist with the movement of materials around the yard and warehouse areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by managing stock levels and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Operate machines and equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for manufacturing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in shipping & receiving, order picking, or heavy equipment operation
- Experience in operating forklifts
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for manufacturing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, including programming CNC machines
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50-$25.00 per hour
