Abel Corporation is a large cabinetry manufacturer based out of Lacombe, Alberta. Abel Corporation is seeking a full-time general labourer to join our team. . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manual assembly of parts into finished case goods Cleaning cabinetry and performing final quality control check Reporting cabinets with deficiencies Preparing cabinets to be shipped Assisting machine operators as needed General cleanup and maintenance Attending and participating in health and safety program General housekeeping Preferred Qualifications: 1-year experience with a variety of hand tools in a manufacturing environment Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items for an entire shift Ability to work in a production setting for 8 or more hours Flexibility to work overtime when needed Strong work ethic with the ability to work alone or in a team environment Successful candidates MUST have a positive attitude and desire for continual improvement Attention to detail and focus on quality Ability to meet deadlines and communicate setbacks with the shop foreman Candidate must supply their own steel toe boots, and tape measure Must have reliable transportation as we are located outside of town Job Type: Full-time Salary:varys Benefits: Casual dress Company events Dental care Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Schedule: 10 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: Lacombe, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
