We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our dealership and oversee the daily operations of our growing business. About the Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of The Power Garage. Reporting directly to Ownership, you will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across three core areas:
- Parts & Service
- Operations
- Customer Engagement
Your role is to ensure these departments operate as one cohesive team, delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving financial and operational goals.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who is equally comfortable reviewing financial performance, coaching team members, solving customer concerns, and spending time on the showroom and shop floor.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the Parts & Service Coordinator, Operations Lead, Customer Engagement Lead, and their teams.
- Build a positive culture focused on accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, regular coaching conversations, and succession planning.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment between departments.
- Facilitate departmental EOS (L10) meetings.
Parts & Service Leadership
- Ensure efficient service operations by monitoring technician productivity, turnaround times, and shop capacity.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and stock control.
- Monitor labour rates, parts margins, warranty performance, and departmental profitability.
- Support effective use of Lightspeed EVO (or similar dealership management systems).
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and workplace safety requirements.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily dealership operations, including facilities, showroom presentation, receiving, inventory, and administration.
- Manage operational budgets and expenses.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health and safety requirements, and consumer protection regulations.
- Lead initiatives that improve processes and support long-term business growth.
Customer Experience
- Champion an exceptional customer experience throughout every stage of the customer journey.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support marketing initiatives, dealership events, promotions, and community partnerships.
- Drive customer retention and loyalty programs.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement continuous improvements.
Financial Leadership
- Take ownership of overall store profitability and financial performance.
- Work with Ownership to develop and achieve annual budgets and business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced leader who combines strong business acumen with a passion for leading people.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive management experience in automotive, powersports, retail, or a related dealership environment.
- Experience managing multiple departments or functional teams.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and KPI management.
- Experience using dealership management systems such as Lightspeed EVO is considered an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

Location
Woodstock, Ontario
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. Some evening and weekend work is required during peak seasons and dealership events.
