Description:
Our major telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in this field. This is a new position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business analysts to understand the business requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical ETL solutions
- Support the current production versions and help investigate issues and identify root causes and get it fixed as soon as possible
- Presenting your data insights and findings using PowerPoint
- Use Python for data manipulation, data cleaning and process automation
Key Competencies and Experience:
- Must have 1-3 years of Python experience
- Strong MS-Excel experience is required
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience in the development of complex data queries and processes using various tools and technologies
- Experience in data presentations and visualizations
- Experience in presenting data reports to management and executives
- Experience with reading, writing, and editing SQL procedures
- Experience with ETL development as a data analyst
- Microstrategy tool experience is an asset
- Background in a customer interfacing role
- Experience with some of the following packages & tools: SAS, SQL, R, Matlab, Python, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.
- Bilingualism, French/English, considered an asset
