Role Overview
In this position, you will oversee service-related activities for new and used vehicles. Responsibilities include preparing work orders, estimating repair needs, collaborating with technicians and management, and assisting with scheduling and internal communications. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities and software systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage work orders for (internal vehicles, new and used) in the service department
- Assess repair requirements and share relevant information with internal teams
- Collaborate with technicians, management, and support staff to ensure timely completion of service tasks
- Keep accurate records of vehicle status and updates
- Oversee the availability and maintenance of loaner and demonstrator vehicles
- Coordinate appointment schedules for internal stakeholders
- Provide assistance with customer check-in and check-out as needed
- Support general administrative tasks to maintain smooth workflow in the service department
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a service advisor is preferred but not required
- Prior dealership experience is required
- Basic understanding of vehicle repair processes and service estimating is an advantage
- Experience with dealership management software (e.g., CDK or similar) is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
