About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Transport Canada–inspected passenger vehicles/vessels, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Transport Canada inspected passenger vehicles/vessels
- Ensure all equipment meets Transport Canada standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address unsafe conditions
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Support inventory management, including replenishment and annual audits
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Complete apprentice documentation as required
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Truck and Transport Certification
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to maintain regulated vehicles to compliance standards
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
