Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical skills and patient communication are highly valued. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be considered advantageous.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including surgical, restorative treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) and must be HARP certified
- Manage patient records using dental software Dentrix
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and answer questions about treatments
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred Min 2 years, especially with knowledge of dental assisting procedures and medical terminology
- Experience working with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable
- Experience using the iTero Scanner preferred
- Level II Dental Assistant
- Must be HARP Certified
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
