That’s where you come in, as our next Senior Advisor in our Private Wealth division.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
At SPW, we help emerging affluent and high net worth families stay on their growth trajectory by helping them build, protect, and multiply their wealth.
This starts with an authentic commitment to our relationship with each individual client and family and leads into a strategic insurance and wealth management planning that goes beyond the traditional planning model. With our valuable access to highly curated, unique, and powerful financial products and strategies, you will be responsible for working with our National partners on a regional level to serve the financial needs of our mutual, in-house clients.
We are looking for an experienced, creative thinking, intrapreneurial Financial Advisor who can provide custom tailored insurance and wealth management solutions for the families we serve. As the primary connection to the firm for each client, you will be capable of understand each client situation in a unique and personal way in order to help identify opportunities and strategies that will enhance their current situation and ensure that what they are doing today, actually matches what they want to do tomorrow.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
The perfect candidate is genuine, transparent, and committed to building deep, long term relationships with your clients and our firm. You’ll need to be highly motivated, self-disciplined, and exceptional at building relationships with our Regional mortgage partners to earn their trust with their clients.
As the chosen candidate, you’ll have to be exceptional at understanding your client’s vision and values for their family or business, not just their corresponding financials. This will lead you to understand how to use insurance as a tax planning tool and asset, as well as how to identify when we can help a client improve their current investment portfolio and plan. You will need to understand how taxes can erode a family’s wealth and how we can utilize unique and often misunderstood financial products to help protect their family wealth on behalf of them their family.
AS A SENIOR ADVISOR:
- You will provide thought and financial leadership to our national and regional mortgage partners and their clients
- You will seek to understand each client and family in a unique way so you can properly advise and direct their next steps
- You will have a comprehensive understanding of life insurance and wealth management products to help ensure you make the right recommendations, every time
- You will be obsessed with providing each client and their family with a fully white glove customer service experience
- You will use our approved industry leading technology to manage your client relationship and to present consistent, hand designed strategies in clear and understandable ways
- You will be the face of the firm to each client and their family and will be exceptional in the eyes of each client you serve
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You are fully life and mutal fund licensed in Ontario
- You have at least 3 years’ experience as a life licensed Advisor
- You love the process of providing financial advice from start to finish
- You have an advanced knowledge of permanent life insurance as an asset
- You value the ability to help clients minimize tax using products and strategies that they are entitled too

COMPENSATION:
The successful candidate will receive salary plus commission or straight commission.
