Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4 pm to 2:30 am
We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running and help us meet customer demands with accuracy, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate oxyfuel plasma cutting equipment to cut material according to work orders and technical drawings.
- Set up the machine, monitor cutting functions, and perform quality inspections throughout the job.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks like checking and adjusting coolant levels, gases, and replacing oxyfuel tips.
- Keep accurate records including inspection and maintenance logs.
- Work closely with Supervisors to maintain productivity and identify any material issues or inefficiencies.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the shop and team goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience operating burntables (oxyfuel/plasma cutting) — this is a must.
- Crane and loader experience required.
- Background in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical instructions, and work orders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and basic math proficiency.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Bonus if you have:
- Familiarity with computer-based cutting programs.
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
