Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Mississauga. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient medication records
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly
- Assist in medication management processes including inventory control, ordering, and storage
- Educate patients on proper medication use, storage, and disposal to promote safe practices
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in Ontario
- Prior experience on fill ware software.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients
