KAN Recruitment is currently hiring a Field Service Technician for a growing organization in Prince George, BC. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining office equipment in a fast-paced field environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair printers, multifunction devices, scanners, and related office equipment
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
- Perform equipment setup, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and repairs
- Manage assigned service calls efficiently while delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate service documentation, inventory, and parts records
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service updates and equipment issues
- Collaborate with internal teams including dispatch, customer support, and management
- Stay current with evolving technologies and participate in ongoing technical training
Requirements
- Previous experience servicing office equipment, printers, copiers, or multifunction devices preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of networking, print drivers, software installation, and scanning solutions
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

Working Conditions
