Position: DZ Driver/Loader (Residential Waste Collection)
Location: Bracebridge, ON
Pay: $27.58/hour
Work Hours:
- Monday - Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Average 10-12 hours per day
- Must work all statutory holidays, except Christmas Day and New Years Day
Benefits:
- Overtime pays after 44 hours
- Paid weekly, every Friday
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Right-hand drive, Side Loader Truck for curbside pick-up
- Collect residential recyclables from curbside
- Drive and load materials
- Perform daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Provide friendly and reliable service, completing assigned daily routes
- Physically able to lift 50lbs repetitively, from the ground into the hopper
- Collect and deliver materials to local transfer stations and landfills
Requirements:
- 2+ yrs experience driving with a DZ or AZ license
- Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Steel-toed work boots, above the ankle, required
- Reliable transportation is a must
Pay: $27.58 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gravenhurst, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
