Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient care, and ensuring accurate medication administration. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to patient treatment and safety. Prior hospital experience and pharmacy technician experience are highly valued, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication procedures.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage
- Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness in accordance with medical orders
- Maintain detailed records of medication dispensation and patient interactions
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including medication administration procedures
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation related to pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Experience
- Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience is preferred
- Prior pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Experience providing patient care in a clinical setting is a plus
- Knowledge of pharmacy software system Kroll and inventory management tools is beneficial

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
