We currently have an opportunity for a full‑time Junior Equipment Sales Specialist in the Alliston area, primarily supporting the sales of AGCO and Horsch equipment. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales or agriculture career who wants hands‑on experience, strong mentorship, and a clear path for development.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with new and existing customers within a defined sales territory
- Support prospecting efforts to identify new business opportunities
- Provide friendly, value‑added service that aligns with each customer’s needs
- Assist in preparing accurate sales quotes, reports, and orders
- Learn product features, benefits, and pricing to support customer conversations
- Attend vendor and dealer training to stay current on equipment updates and become a product specialist over time
- Work closely with our Service and Parts teams to coordinate installations, calibrations, order tracking, and inventory needs
- Support equipment demonstrations, including setup, operation, and walk‑throughs with customers
- Assist senior sales staff during field demos and gradually take on more responsibility as your product knowledge grows
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for agriculture and modern farming practices
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn consultative selling
- Interest or experience with agricultural equipment (tractors, combines, planters, etc.)
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A technical mindset — comfortable learning how equipment works and how to operate it
- Confidence or willingness to learn how to operate equipment for demos
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); CRM experience is an asset

- Relevant post‑secondary education in agriculture or hands‑on experience with farming equipment
