Cabana Dental is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment where your dedication to oral health can truly make a difference.
As a Dental Hygienist at Cabana Dental, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to our patients, helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay
- Assist the dentist with procedures when needed
- Accurately document patient care and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Knowledge of standard dental office procedures and protocols
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
- OPENDENTAL experience is an asset
- Familiarity with medical and dental terminology
- Experience in orthodontics and/or dental assisting is an asset
