Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role is essential in providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial spaces such as offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality of client information
