Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after trips.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid class 1A driver’s license.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and clients.
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with local routes or GPS systems.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery documentation and adherence to schedules.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
