Position Overview: As a Fire Alarm Technician at Allen Fire and Safety Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about their craft, take pride in their work, and thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment. ASTTBC Certification is required. CFAA is a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test and maintain various types of fire protection systems in alignment with codes and regulations.
- Work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and address issues with existing fire alarm systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on sprinkler systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Prioritize safety and adhere to protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- ASTTBC certifications in AL,WA,FX & EM (Additional disciplines are preferred)
- Proven experience as a fire protection technician
- Thorough understanding of relevant codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
