Key Responsibilities
· Monitor store entrances, exits, aisles, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
· Help prevent theft, vandalism, and unsafe behaviour through regular patrols and visible presence.
· Respond professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and emergency situations.
· Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security issues to store management.
· Prepare clear and accurate incident reports when required.
· Support store staff while maintaining a respectful and customer-service-focused approach.
· Follow all company policies, site procedures, and client post orders.
Qualifications
· Valid Ontario security guard licence is required.
· Previous security, retail, or customer service experience is an asset.
· Strong communication and observation skills.
· Ability to remain calm, professional, and alert during busy or stressful situations.
· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Basic written English skills for completing reports.
· First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
Schedule
Shifts may include weekdays, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants should be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on store needs.
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
