Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair cutting, colouring, styling, and chemical services
- Conduct client consultations and recommend services based on individual needs
- Educate clients on at-home hair care and recommend professional retail products
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from consultation through checkout
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation
- Work collaboratively with fellow stylists and salon staff
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and products
- Uphold the professional standards and reputation of Guitar Hair Dezigns & Esthetics
Qualifications
- Alberta Journeyman Certificate or Red Seal Hairstylist Certification
- Excellent cutting, colouring, and styling skills
- Passion for the beauty industry and ongoing learning
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Retail sales experience is considered an asset
