We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Independent Insurance Broker to join our growing team. This is a commission-based opportunity ideal for licensed brokers who are comfortable building their own book of business, developing client relationships, and providing professional insurance advice.
The role follows a hybrid work model, with work flexibility and in-office meetings in Scarborough for training, compliance updates, and team collaboration.
Please note that the listed pay range represents estimated on-target earnings based on performance and is not a guaranteed base salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a client portfolio through networking, referrals, and prospecting
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Present and explain auto, home, commercial, and travel insurance products
- Support clients with quotes, applications, renewals, and policy reviews
- Maintain accurate client records and follow compliance procedures
- Participate in occasional team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid RIBO license is mandatory
- Insurance, sales, customer service, or business development experience is an asset
- multilingual ability is preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and client-focused
- Able to work independently and build a personal book of business
- Based in Toronto or surrounding areas
