We are currently seeking a full-time Junior Maintenance Technician / General Labourer to join our growing property management company.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist senior maintenance technicians with a variety of maintenance and repair projects, including:
- Assisting with property maintenance and renovation projects (eg. filter changing)
- Performing minor exterior painting projects
- Lawn care and grounds maintenance
- General cleaning and property upkeep
- Supporting maintenance staff with day-to-day operations
- Responding to maintenance requests as directed
Qualifications and Requirements
- Report directly to the Property Managers
- Possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Own a basic set of tools required for maintenance work
- Certification in a technical trade is considered an asset
- Previous experience in home renovation, maintenance, repairs, or general construction is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, as required
- Working knowledge of computers and smartphones for communication and work-related tasks
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
