Class One Truck Driver
Overview:
Ruby Rock Group is seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers for the 2026 construction season. We take pride in operating a well-maintained, newer high-end fleet of trucks and equipment, and we are looking for individuals who share the same standards of professionalism, safety, and care for equipment.
Applicants must have experience operating combinations such as Truck & Pup, End Dumps, Wagons, and Live Bottom Trailers. Experience hauling heavy equipment is considered a strong asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a valid class 1 driver’s license and have a clean driver’s abstract.
- Possess gravel and/or asphalt truck driving experience.
- Be over 25 years old
- Possess a valid airbrakes certificate
- Detail oriented and organized
- Flexible to work some weekends
- Knowledge of construction hauling of asphalt or gravel

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform minor maintenance when required
- Operate equipment safely and in compliance with all road laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, foremen, asphalt plants, gravel pits, and subcontractors
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
SAFETY
- Wear required PPE including but not limited to hard hats, gloves, reflective vests, hearing and eye protection and protective footwear
