Do you enjoy helping people, have a passion for customer service, and appreciate stylish eyewear? EyeHaus is looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team.
This is a dynamic role where you'll be the first point of contact for our patients while also assisting with eyewear dispensing and supporting our clinical team. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding patient experience.

What You'll DoPatient Experience
- Welcome and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
- Be the friendly face that helps every patient feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
- Help ensure every patient enjoys a smooth and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.
Eyewear & Optical Services
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle and needs.
- Take accurate optical measurements.
- Order lenses and eyewear accurately.
- Dispense, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair glasses.
- Educate patients on lens options and proper eyewear care.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
- Process insurance claims and assist with billing.
- Manage orders and follow up with patients when eyewear arrives.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
Inventory & Clinic Operations
- Receive and organize inventory.
- Maintain an organized and attractive optical display.
- Help keep the clinic clean, professional, and welcoming.
- Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For

- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
- Empathetic, patient, and able to anticipate patients' needs.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning new technology and office systems.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred.
- Optical or eyewear experience is an asset but not required.
- Medical or healthcare office experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to speak additional languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog is considered a strong asset.
