Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, counters, and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation and display items as needed to enhance the customer experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food and beverage items served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
