Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system while ensuring accurate billing.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Comply with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong mathematical skills for managing transactions and calculating drink recipes.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain safety standards in the bar area.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent bartending skills with a creative flair for crafting unique cocktails.
- Outstanding customer service abilities, demonstrating hospitality and attentiveness to guest needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.
