Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is the front line between the client and the back end of the dealership maintaining strong relationships and offering an exceptional customer experience to all clients. Consulting and explaining in detail all vehicle service requirements while promoting high brand standards to align business and client needs.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Prepare and provide detailed and accurate estimates for clients
- Open and manage Service work orders
- Answer incoming Service calls
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Execute customer billing
- Execute CSI calls and customer follow ups
- Maintain high level of professionalism
- Ensure all customers are engaged and acknowledged
- Gather information from clients and upload details into programs
- Maintain service calendars and assign time to jobs
- Handle customer complaints and disputes in a professional manner
- Monitor loaner vehicle check-in and check out
- Maintain ongoing positive relationships with internal and external contacts
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Advisory experience 2+ years (Required)
- Customer service experience 2+ years (Preferred)
- Automotive service experience 2+ year (Preferred)
- Well versed skillset with CDK (Required)
- Ability to write and dispatch repair orders in a timely manner
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing various tasks and deadlines
- Works well in a team dynamic
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driver’s abstract
